Psychoeducation

Supporting understanding, resilience, and emotional wellbeing

Sometimes we need more than insight, we need tools, language, and space to reflect.
Psychoeducation offers a supportive framework for making sense of emotional experiences, behavioural patterns, and relational dynamics.

I offer psychoeducational workshops, one-to-one sessions, and group spaces for educators, dancers, professionals, organisations, and parents. These sessions are designed to gently support emotional literacy, stress management, and relational understanding, within a safe, reflective space.

What We May Explore

Sessions focus on areas including:
– Stress management and emotional regulation
– Boundaries and communication
– Performance anxiety and perfectionism
– Self-care and sustainable practice
– Understanding relational patterns and attachment
– Mentalisation and reflective functioning

Together, we consider the psychological functions behind behaviours, why they surface, how they protect, and how we might respond with greater compassion, clarity, and choice.

Grounded in a mentalisation-based and psychodynamic approach, this work encourages emotional resilience and a deeper sense of self-understanding. It’s not about getting it right, it’s about staying curious, reflective, and connected.

Who It Is For

Psychoeducation is for anyone seeking greater insight and emotional clarity in their personal or professional lives. Sessions are tailored to the needs of:

– Dance students and professionals

– Educators and teaching staff

– Health and care professionals

– Parents and caregivers

– Creative practitioners and organisations

How We Work

These sessions can be delivered one-to-one, in small groups, or as part of larger training workshops.

I work holistically and collaboratively, offering a meaningful and entirely tailored educational space. Sessions are shaped around the needs of the individuals I work with, the organisations they’re part of, and the emotional climate they operate within. This approach supports emotional growth, renewed motivation, and increased productivity, while offering practical, transferable tools that can be carried into everyday life and work.

Whether you’re supporting others or learning to better support yourself, the space offers a thoughtful pause, an opportunity to reflect, recalibrate, and reconnect.
